Overview
Your assigned VOLT Representative will begin the deployment process by gathering essential details - such as points of contact, site/network information, and the number of streams per site/network. This ensures we have the information needed to configure and ship your edge device(s), as well as prepare your VOLT Portal environment.
In order to get up and running instantly, please review the following.
Floor Plans: We will need dimensionally accurate 2D diagrams of your facilities which we convert into a 3D model.
Edge Device: Install our on-site hardware which securely processes video streams, this step may require firewall exceptions to be made if outbound traffic is not open.
Camera Details: Share your camera information so we can access their streams for AI detections and analytics.
Floor Plans
To map your environment accurately, please share your facility's floor plans with your VOLT representative. Include all areas you wish to monitor (both indoor and outdoor). To further expedite the process, please identify camera positions on these plans.
This will allow us to create a 3D map of your environment, which we upload to the Portal.

Edge Device
Once you've chosen between our cloud or on-prem solution, let us know whether the device will need a static IP or rely on DHCP. When shipped, the confirmation email we send you will contain a tracking number and the device's MAC address so you can prepare your network/firewall (if needed).
Camera Details
Once your cameras are configured, submit their details using the template below to your VOLT Representative. We require: camera names, camera models, login credentials, IP address, MAC address, and most importantly the RTSP urls.
