Overview

If you navigate to the Facilities page on the portal, you can view and click into any of your facilities. The default view will be your camera list for that facility, navigating to the map view will show you indoor and outdoor spaces where you can create zones to monitor. These can be thought of as spaces that you would like to monitor for particular types of activity depending on your facility and security needs, for example trespassing at night in an outdoor space, more than 5 people detected in an area of the building that should only have 2 at a time, etc.

There are two types of spaces, indoor and outdoor. For indoor spaces, there are three ways to create a zone: create a square zone, draw a zone, and create a zone and fill space. For outdoor spaces, there are two ways to create a zone: create a square zone and draw a zone.

There are four zone types: public, semi-public, restricted, and highly restricted. These are indicated on an incident when it is escalated.
