Volt's user management provides you with the peace of mind that your system's security is safeguarded, knowing the right individuals hold the right permissions.

Users

There are three pre-defined user roles that can be set in our portal: Admins, Managers, and Operators.

  • Admins: Enjoy comprehensive access, including the ability to edit facilities, zones, rules, and users, granting full system control.

  • Managers: Possess the capability to add, edit, or remove controls within designated facilities, maintaining control over assigned areas.

  • Operators: Focus primarily on incident-related actions, such as viewing camera feeds and accessing incident details, streamlining incident response and resolution.

  • Custom Roles: Create your own user role with specified permissions.

Groups

Efficiently organize your organization's users with groups. Sample usage may look like having groups like "Admins," "Facility #1 Managers," "Facility #1 Operators," "Facility #2 Managers," "Facility #2 Operators," etc.
